Well folks,
It is not very often that I get to write about things that inspire me so much. The writing
I am doing today pleases me more that can be imagined. My lady and I had the pleasure of attending an event at Willhoites in Grapevine Texas featuring CE Holloway and Vigilante Road. The show was more than a concert, it was an awesome variety show that involved music, talent, and crowd involvement. The front man CE Holloway CMA Of Texas Award Winner showed poise in how he was able to mesh multiple musical genre and commentary that would rival any event. Vigilante Road played a mix of country, blues, classic rock, and americana. Starting the show the band played the National Anthem lead by lead guitarist Bobby Michaelides ( Bobby Freakin Wood )
Bobby with his wireless guitar walked through the crowd and played the patriotic tune in the style of Hendrix that would make any patriotic American smile. I have personally had the opportunity to see many top 40 artists, however I would not have wanted to be anywhere else as Vigilante Road would have rivaled any arena show I have seen. With outstanding original songs, and songs from artists like Merle, Waylon, Marshal Tucker, and ZZ Top, I was amazed at the quality of the music. Engaging the crowd Bobby could be one of the best lead players I have had the pleasure of hearing and meeting, he was very pleasant and humble willing to talk with a true fan. Bobby couldn't have been more kind and talented.
The drummer was as outstanding as I have had the pleasure of seeing. Mike Pritchett ( Drummer
) could play with anybody and Vigilante Road is no exception. The spinal chord of the band is a great soul and played without flaw. I have known CE for a great many years and was pleased to see how much my friend has grown as a songwriter, musician, and front man. Remembering his roots and giving the performance of his life still remembered to recognize those who supported him, CE was the only front man that this band would ever need. With all of the things I have discussed I would recommend that anyone who wants to be entertained visit a CE Holloway and Vigilante Road show, You will not be disappointed. Great sound, great music, tons of IEntertainment, and some of the kindest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.
